The Role

We are looking to recruit two Administration Assistants based at our Hammersmith and Southall Campuses. The position at Hammersmith will be full time and fixed term. The Administration Assistant at Southall Campus will be working with our KS4 Students, part time and term time only.The successful candidates will provide responsive, flexible, effective and efficient administrative support to our Administration Team - College Wide. You will contribute significantly to delivery of team targets and outcomes, making a direct impact on outcomes for our learners. You will work as part of a friendly and diverse team and will report to the Administration Manager, ensuring effective administrative support is provided to curriculum teams and our students.Adopting a collaborative approach to your work you will service & attend meetings as required and support all aspects of college activities e.g. interviews, assessments and enrolment. Ensuring administrative processes and systems within the department are adhered to you will also receive and respond to correspondence and enquiries, manage team diaries and collate and produce data and statistics

The Person

As well as being an experienced, confident and accomplished administrator you will have all the IT, team working and numeracy and literacy skills required to deliver the role. In addition you will also have:

  • Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to explore problems and provide solutions to students, managers and colleagues.
  • A proactive, flexible and self- motivated attitude to your work.
  • The ability to time manage effectively, respond to changing priorities and meet tight and conflicting deadlines.
  • An understanding of the role, outcomes, processes and external factors relating to FE/HE

Hours: 37 hours per week at Hammersmith Campus - FTC until November 2017


30.83 hours per week at Southall Campus - FTC until January 2018 ( term time only 40 weeks)
