We are seeking a part time Administration Officer to join our college community.  If you have:
•    Previous experience with processing enrolments within a school or a solid administration background in a fast-paced environment and love learning new things,
•    Enjoy a varied role that includes administration and coordination of college events like Open Days,
•    A passion for helping others, by assisting in many areas within the college, from the college reception to the tuckshop, and
•    Flexibility working school term time from 18 to 24 hours per week - then we have the role for you!

The successful applicant will be primarily assisting with the processing of college enrolments, coordinating college tours & events and will also work to support the whole administration team as required.  

What you bring to the role:
•    Demonstrated competency in the ability to perform administration functions with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail,
•    A helpfulness of spirit, flexibility, and excellent customer service skills,
•    Previous experience in an administration role, particularly within a school environment,
•    Excellent organisational skills, demonstrated initiative, great attention to detail, confidentiality and discretion,
•    Previous experience with the Microsoft Office suite is essential,
•    Any previous experience with eMinerva would be highly regarded, and
•    Any event or hospitality focus in a previous role will be well regarded.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: 18 to 24 hours per week

Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 3 - $30.97 per hour

Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement
