Administrative Assistant and School Photographer - Dubai

Masterminds, Dubai’s leading early learning center, is recruiting for an Administrative Assistant and School Photographer. 

Our parents refer to us as the “Harvard of Preschools.” Masterminds staff are expected to follow high standards of personal achievement. 

Essential Requirements  

• Spoken and Written fluency in English
• Flexible, hands-on and capable of multitasking 
• Must be willing to step into multiple roles if required
• Able to work well under pressure, able to handle hectic schedules, and have high endurance
• Must have high level of IT literacy and the ability to trouble-shoot technical problems with emails, laptops etc (coordinating with technical support as needed)
• Highly organized   
• Good problem solving skills   

Core Responsibilities  

ADMIN/HR:

• Liaise with the PRO to facilitate the process of work visa, labor, card, medical insurance etc.
• Preparing / sharing correspondence on Management’s behalf
• Assist in planning and organizing all internal and external events and camps
• Prepare all staff training material, records and provide an overview of training undertaken and required as per the renewal dates.
• Assist in booking courses for staff and ensuring the school has adequate cover in place
• Assist in organizing school trips and handle all logistics like transportation, ticket purchases etc.
• Organize the purchase of office and school supplies.
• Monitor inventory of school supplies and the purchase of new resources
• Liaise IT related cases with IT Technicians for any modification or trouble shooting.

ADMISSIONS & STUDENTS:

• Work with Communications & Finance Coordinators to ensure a seamless registration and admissions process
• Maintain all recordkeeping for students and parents
• Maintain and generate student  reports from Teachers
• Maintain all communication and curriculum folders

SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHER:

• Capture, edit and produce high quality of photos and videos
• Review photos and videos, edit and make necessary changes
• Ensure all assignments are shot and edited on time for publication: website, social media etc.
• Manipulate photos to achieve highest quality using the appropriate tools
• Work closely with Teachers to establish set-up area, flow etc
• Maintain equipment in a safe manner according to company guidelines
• Candidate should have a creative mind with an eye for detail and storytelling skills
• Experience with digital technology and photo editing software packages e.g. Photoshop
