A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and suitably experienced candidate to join the Bursar’s Office of the school, assisting both the Finance and Personnel departments.
The responsibilities of the role will include assisting our Finance Assistants with various administrative tasks, including filing, banking and general office organisation.
The post-holder will also be responsible for the provision of support for the School’s Cover system, which ensures that all timetabled lessons for year groups 7-11 are supervised in the event of teacher absence.
Due to the requirements of the role and the timings of the school day, the hours of work will need to be 7.30am to 1.30pm Monday to Friday during the term time, which includes the full weeks in which each term begins and ends.
This is a varied role for a strong and personable administrator, who will need to be able to prioritise their own workload to meet the demands of both departments, working both independently and as part of a team when required. They will be based primarily in the Finance Office but will also need to spend time in the Personnel Office, and will liaise closely with the teaching staff when dealing with Cover. A degree of flexibility is required.
The salary awarded will depend upon qualifications and experience and the appointed candidate will start in post as soon as possible, on completion of all required pre-appointment checks.
