Administrative Assistant

Salary: Scale 4 Spine Point 18-21 (£20,667 - £22,425 pro rata or all year round)

Are you looking for a new direction?

We are looking for a new administrative assistant to come and join our vibrant SEMH secondary school within the heart of the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

We can offer a highly supportive and skilled team to work with, as well as some of the most amazing pupils, who want to work with you in supporting their behaviours - helping them take the next step in their academic life.

Your main role will be to provide a professional first point of contact for the Head of School and the staff to parents, providers and external agencies. You will be directed by the school’s Business Manager in ensuring that all clerical duties are carried out to the highest level of professionalism e.g. diary management, processing purchase orders, imputing invoices and maintenance of school records/data using SIMs/FMS.

The hours that you are required to work are 8.00am – 4.30pm (all year round) or 8.00am – 4.00pm (term time and pro rata only)

We welcome informal discussions and visits, so please contact Meic Griffiths - Executive Headteacher for Waterside SEMH Primary & King’s Oak SEMH Secondary Schools or Jill Smith – Head of School, King’s Oak School.

Please note:

King’s Oak School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  All posts are subject to pre-employment checks.  References will be sought and successful candidates will need to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Closing Date:  Friday 15 February 2019

Interviews: Week commencing Monday 25 February 2019
