Governors are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to work within our busy school administration team. The successful candidate will be required to provide support for our reception desk, reprographics and general office duties.  You will need to have a good all round knowledge of the Microsoft Office package and good keyboard skills. Experience of working in a school and knowledge of the SIMS software package would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate.

This is an exciting time to join our happy, oversubscribed school and be part of a dynamic team who contribute to our school community.  If you can offer vision, drive and a commitment to supporting our Catholic school, and will share our commitment to improving the life chances of young people regardless of background, we would like to hear from you.

Further details and Catholic Education Service application forms are also available from the school website (www.cardinalheenan.com).

Please note that covering letters are not required and will not be used as part of the shortlisting or selection process. There is a section of the application form where candidates may offer further information to support their application. This can take the form of a letter of no more than two sides of A4.

Closing date: Noon on Monday 20 September.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils, hence all appointments made are subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
