Could you be our new 'face' of Harold Court?

We require a School Receptionist to be the first point of contact in the school's main Reception.

Head Teacher and Governors seek someone who is able to deliver friendly, efficient customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere to all our guests.

You will be responisble for providing a comprehensive and highly efficient service including dealing with enquiries from parents, children and the general public, in person and on the telephone.

If you are a good team player, with substantial knowledge and experience of working in a busy office or similar environment and can demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, along with a high level of written and spoken English I would like to hear from you.

This member of staff needs to be an enthusiastic, efficient, flexible, friendly, reliable and fun person to manage the smooth running of the Reception area.

This role is demanidng with pressures both internally and externally. You must be able to handle a variety of tasks quickly, efficiently and calmly, including operating a busy swithboard, be able to deal with competing deadlines and have excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills.

You will need to have an excellent telephone manner and be able to deal sensitively with a range of children, parents and outside agencies. Articulate in both conduct and dress. Willing to learn- supporting our stream lining of many areas, ensuring the smooth running of this very important department within our school.

You will need excellent IT and interpersonal skills. Previous school office experience using SIMS.net would ne an advantage but not essential. Also confidence with mail merging and Microsoft Excel.

Other necessary qualities include confidentiality, efficiency and being able to work on your own initiative and under pressure and a willingness to contribute to the continued improvement of our wonderful school.
