Description The role of Administrative Assistant will support nominated Assistant Directors and the Senior Education Officer of School Improvement in their roles.
Position Requirements As a member of the Office of the Director this position provides high level administrative services to Assistant Directors and the Senior Education Officer (COSI-School Improvement) including:
• Desktop publication and document production, publications and presentations
• Management of calendars, organisation of meetings and associated catering etc.
• Events and functions organisation as required including accommodation bookings
• Creating and distribution of agendas, minutes secretary responsibilities including documentation collation and distribution
• Provision of Survey Monkey instruments, liaising with stakeholders and collation of data and reports
• Coordinate School Improvement (COSI) materials to schools, manage timelines and coordinate Curriculum focus days with relevant CSO staff
• Co-ordination of events as required by Assistant Directors of schools
• Stakeholder meeting coordination as required
Essential Criteria The successful applicant will support the ethos and mission of the Catholic church and the school system of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle and:
• Develop, implement and monitor office systems, schedules, procedures and processes as required
• Display excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation
• Manage workload, meet deadlines and work unsupervised
• Display a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
• Work as an effective and collaborative team member ensuring a high level communication
• The successful applicant will need to comply with the CSO Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy
