Job overview

We are a Trust of nine schools, all based in South East London. Whilst each of our schools maintains its individuality, we share a common mission: to ensure that every single child and young person in our care is successful at school so that they can flourish and be successful in their lives.

Haberdashers' Borough Academy is a growing school with an expanding student body and workforce to match. The Administrative team provide essential and timely support to each and every part of the school, its staff, students and parents.

We are seeking an experienced Admin Lead to manage a busy office environment and ensure the admin functions work together.

As the Admin Lead you will be a pivotal part of the support team, with opportunities and scope to develop the role into the senior leadership team. Your role is to ensure that the school administrative functions operate effectively and cohesively, and you will coordinate these multiple workstreams to deliver an efficient and essential administrative service for the school.

As the school continues to grow, the expectation is that along with your office manager responsibilities you will take the lead in recruiting and managing the administration team. Your work with other members of the support team will strive to uphold the vision and ethos of the school at all times and provide an excellent customer service to a range of stakeholders.
