Salary information: Scale 3, £21,401 – £21,753 per annum;

Working pattern: 36 hours per week, Term time only + 5 training days (39 weeks);

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 4:00pm, Friday 7:45am - 3:45pm;

Start date: 4th September 2023.

Pentland Field School is an all-through school that meets the educational needs of around 160 children and young adults aged 4-19 with a range of learning disabilities, including those who may be autistic and those who have physical or sensory needs.

We are looking for an Administrative Receptionist to join our team in September.

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors to the school, parents, staff and children. As the ‘face’ of the School the receptionist should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the School in a professional and friendly manner. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • has exceptional organisational, administrative and ICT skills;
  • works well and remains calm under pressure; 
  • has a ‘can do’ attitude.  

We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience of working in a dynamic front facing environment and can demonstrate a positive, flexible attitude to their work.
