Administrator/ Attendance Officer

The Severn Bridges Multi-Academy Trust and Governors of Mount Pleasant Primary School wish to appoint a dedicated and suitably experienced Administrator/Attendance Officer to join our enthusiastic and supportive staff team.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and expect all staff and volunteers, to share the same commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and will follow a safer recruitment policy.

We are looking for an Administrator who:

• Is enthusiastic, friendly, motivated, flexible and has a sense of humour
• Is able to take the lead in monitoring the schools’ attendance, with appropriate training
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills 
• Has a knowledge of school systems (SIMS) and good ICT skills using various software (online payment system, Word, Excel, online diaries and website) 
• Has experience of working in a school setting or other relevant environment 
• Is very organised and able to organise fundraising events or have some experience of events management or willing to learn
• Act as first aid coordinator and either have or be willing to undertaking training
• Is able to work well as part of a dedicated staff team

Grade 5, scp 14-17, £9.17 to £9.68 per hour
Permanent, Term time only, 35 hours per week
