Harris City Academy Crystal Palace is a mixed Academy for 1,300 students aged 11-18. The Academy has three consecutive outstanding judgments by Ofsted, with the most recent inspection in 2014 finding the Academy to be outstanding in every aspect. This thriving Academy also has a large sixth form with over 300 students. It is one of the most oversubscribed comprehensive schools in the country and in the top 5% for performance.
We are looking for an Administrator to support the day-to-day running of the Academy. Your responsibilities will include undertaking confidential administrative duties, supporting the ALT team, covering reception, and any other duties required for the smooth operation of the Academy.
What we are looking for:
- A graduate (or equivalent qualification) with at least two years' experience working in a school or other educational establishment
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills when liaising with a wide range of people, including parents, governors, pupils and outside agencies
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own workload and use your initiative
The position will be 8.00am to 4.00pm term time plus 10 days, 4 of which to be worked in August for exam and enrollment days.

Harris City Academy Crystal Palace opened as Harris CTC in 1990 and converted to an academy in September 2007. The academy is a mixed school for 1,300 students aged 11-18 recruiting students from Croydon, Bromley, Lewisham, Southwark and Lambeth.
