If so, you could do something incredible by playing an integral role at Witherslack Group and helping us change young lives. Our experts provide first-class care and education through our state-of-the-art homes and schools, so by joining us you’ll be helping children and young people develop by supporting our dedicated team. In return, we’ll help you grow too!

The role

We’re looking for a new Administrator to join our hardworking, friendly and dedicated team. You will support the Senior Administrator with managing day to day tasks, from answering telephone queries to minute taking. Your main challenge will be to provide a customer focussed support service to managers, employees and outside agencies. With your efficient, professional approach, you’ll be responsible for proofreading official documents, managing meetings, assisting with administration for events and greeting visitors to Head Office. With our commitment to staff development, you will be supported to advance your career too.

Your profile

Are you organised, confident on the telephone and willing to work hard? You will need to bring office experience and proven admin skills to the role, have good IT skills, and have a keen eye for detail. However, it’s your gift for dealing with people that will make all the difference. Professional, helpful and friendly, you will be an asset to the team. To join us, you’ll need English and Maths GCSE at grade C or equivalent, plus experience of dealing with issues of a confidential nature.

For children with complex, challenging needs, the level of care and education must go above and beyond and that’s what drives us here at Witherslack Group. With our high staff-to-child ratio and in-house clinical teams, we’re proud to have won a reputation for excellence. Our aspirational homes, schools and ethos help us achieve the best possible outcomes. In short, we’re creating life opportunities.

Rewards

We know you’re going to do great things. We offer a salary and benefits package that’s among the best in our sector. You’ll enjoy a competitive salary, contributory pension (matched up to 5%), Life Insurance based on two times your annual base salary, comprehensive induction and ongoing training, 35 days’ holiday (including bank holidays), Medicash Health Plan/Employee Assistance, and Cycle to Work Scheme. Witherslack covers DBS Enhanced check costs to all new employees.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Jane Elliston – Senior Administrator on 015395 66081.

The Witherslack Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its young people. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check. We are an equal opportunities employer welcoming applications from all sections of the community.
