Administrator for External Affairs and Examinations
Hours: 36 hours a week, 40 weeks a year (term time plus 1 week)
Salary Grade: Hay 6, (points 20-27)
Salary: £20,185-£24,373 (actual salary)
To work within our Administration Department providing support for the Head of External Affairs & Career Aspirations and the Examinations Manager. This will involve organising large and small events e.g. the annual careers fair, guest speakers and any school careers education, advice and information guidance (CEAIG) trips, and work experience. It will also involve administration of websites and maintaining databases.
The role also involves support to the Examinations Manager to ensure that all administrative duties, checks and documentation are completed to the required level of accuracy including examination entries, returns and reports
The successful candidate will have excellent administrative skills, initiative and personal efficiency. They will have previous experience of working in a busy, professional environment, outstanding ICT skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
They will need to be willing to work flexibly and be available to attend very occasional evening meetings. Experience of administration preferably in schools is desirable
