St. Augustine’s C.E. High School is a medium sized mixed comprehensive school situated on the doorstep of central London, in Kilburn. Following the recent formation of St Augustine’s Federated Schools, bringing together St Augustine’s Church of England Primary and High Schools, we seek to appoint an experienced and highly skilled administrator.

The role reports directly to the Headteacher

The role is broad and will cover:

• Assisting the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team of the school in a range of administrative duties

• Handling confidential and sensitive matters

• Engagement with the school community and visitors including staff, governors, students, parents and visitors

• An early start to co-ordinate cover for absent staff

The successful candidate must:

• Have recent relevant experience of administrative systems including MS products and ideally SIMS

• Experienced in working on own initiative and managing conflicting priorities

• Have a minimum education standard of passes at GCSE in maths and English and at least three other subjects, passes at GCE Advanced level or equivalent.  A degree is preferred.

• A  ‘can-do’ attitude

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, business-like manner

• Ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.

St. Augustine’s Federated schools consists of primary and secondary voluntary aided Church of England schools, located in a diverse multi ethnic, inner city community situated in Maida Vale / Kilburn close to the heart of London.
