CAST Administrator. 17 hours per week. Temporary maternity position. Based at Freemen's Park Campus supporting the Construction curriculum area.

We are one of the largest Further Education Colleges in the UK with more than 21,400 learners studying with us on a wide range of courses. Our mission is to equip people with the skills they need to be successful in education, in work and business and in their personal lives.

We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced administrator to work within our Construction curriculum area. You will be providing a high level of support across the curriculum area. You must have good communication skills, used to problem solving, working on your own initiative along with a positive attitude. Your duties will include administrative work, word processing, maintaining databases and spreadsheets. Occasionally you may be required to take notes at staff meetings.

Educated to GSCE grade C in maths and English (or equivalent), you will hold a CLAIT Plus or equivalent IT qualification / skills and have recent relevant administration and note taking experience. A 'can do 'approach is essential.

 Leicester College is a further education college complex and one of the largest of its kind in England, with 22,300 students on the school roll as of the most recent inspection. This is comprised of mostly adults on part-time courses, and around 4,300 learners aged 16 to 19 on full-time study programmes.
