Administrator – Roundhouse Thinking (RHT)
20 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: £17,538 per annum, pro rata
Roundhouse Thinking (part of DCG) is currently looking for a part-time Administrator to provide administrative support for RHT and the Director of Employer Partnerships in every aspect of the planning and execution of agreed events and training. The role supports all aspects of the planning and execution of training events within Roundhouse Thinking ensuring customer service is first class from the initial enquiry through to post-event debrief.
This position could be considered on a term time only basis for the right candidate. Please indicate on your application form if you would be interested in the role on a term time only basis
The role is busy and varied and includes extensive PC use. It is therefore essential that candidates have excellent keyboard/computer skills.
The role involves greeting our customers on our reception desk. Therefore, first class communication and interpersonal skills are also essential as regular telephone calls and face to face with our customers is a significant part of this role.
The successful candidate must be an effective team player, who is flexible, well-motivated and organised.
Ideally the hours will be 4 hours each day, but this can be flexible.

Derby College is a large general further education college with four sites in or near the city of Derby. It supports around 26,000 learners, who choose from more than 1,000 full-time and part-time apprenticeship, A-level, BTEC and NVQ courses.
Derby College was established as a single institution in 2002 by merging three further education colleges: Mackworth Tertiary College, Wilmorton Tertiary College and Broomfield Agricultural College. A merger between South East Derbyshire College and Derby College was approved in 2010. Heavy investment has been made by the college in its teaching and learning facilities, from the fully equipped teaching kitchens at the Roundhouse campus to the high-tech science labs at the Joseph Wright Centre and the Equestrian Centre at the Broomfield Hall campus.
