The Director of Admission and Marketing is responsible for managing student enrollment and promote school marketing, commit to the school's core values and open for personal development. The Director oversees all aspects of the admissions process, including marketing strategies for recruiting new students and a well-maintained relationship with the parents.  The Director manages an office that includes the Admission manager, Admission Officer, Parent Relations Manager and Marketing and Communication team. The Director of Admission and Marketing reports to the School Director

Admission & Parent Relations Duties :

  1. Designs, implements, and evaluates all aspects of a strategic, comprehensive admission program with the goal of maintaining a capacity enrollment of qualified students that meets or exceeds net tuition revenue goals, and a waitlist of qualified applicants.
  2. Develop strategic plans and enrollment forecasts.
  3. Work closely with Principals to develop appropriate policies, procedures and assessment tools.
  4. Ensures outstanding customer experiences for prospective students and parents, through high-touch handling of applications and communication, personalized campus tours, interviews with students and parents, and communicating final decisions.
  5. Maintains and builds close and productive relationships with feeder schools, educational consultants and other referral sources in target markets, and creates relationships in new markets.
  6. Organizes and administers the financial aid program for both new and returning students;
  7. Effectively presents and embodies the school and its value proposition through outstanding public speaking and formal presentation skills, one-on-one communication skills, informal interpersonal interactions, and written communication ability.
  8. Manages a staff; hires, trains, and evaluates staff members using best practices and school policies.
  9. Manages departmental budget and allocates resources with strategic awareness and professionalism.
  10. Develops and monitors benchmarks to measure progress toward achievement goals.
  11. Generates management reports for monitoring progress towards goals, meet regularly with School director to discuss issues and anticipate needs.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

 

Marketing duties :

  1. Effectively market the school and its programs globally to prospective families by telling the school's story through ‘shareable social content’.
  2. Serves as the custodian of the PYD Brand by guiding communications to assist departments and divisions in setting up templates and formats for new initiatives, and programs so that the ‘look and feel’ represents PYD.
  3. Develops and executes short- and long-term global marketing plans, including, but not limited to, digital marketing, public relations, special events, advertising, and other promotional strategies that support School.
  4.  Leads the school’s community outreach events and collaborate with other departments.
  5. Sources and analyzes customer research, current market conditions, and competitor information.
  6. Plans, writes, edits and seeks out diverse content to share across all marketing channels.
  7. Communicate with a variety of constituents on both campuses to support school initiatives and events; coordinate volunteer efforts where and when appropriate. 
  8. Educate and confer with Executive staff when directed by the School Director.
  9. Select, hire and oversee all marketing personnel.
  10. Understand and develop budgets and finance, including expenditures, research and development appropriations.
  11. Organize school open house and major events. 
  12. Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications and Essential skills:

     • Master’s degree or equivalent

     • 5-7 years of experience in school admission and marketing role

     • Dynamic leadership, organizational, program development, motivational skills, creative thinking and reasoning abilities.

     • A responsive problem-solver; able to quickly synthesize information and make recommendations

     • Demonstrate customer service orientation.

     • Demonstrate competency to oversee multiple tasks with keen attention to detail is required.

     • Must possess excellent writing and editing skills and be able to contribute to all aspects of the production of admissions and marketing materials.

     • Able to work with and provide support to a broad range of internal and external constituents including Admission staff, students and faculty.

     • Superior organization, prioritization, and self-motivation.

     • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of computer databases, information systems, and new technologies including electronic applications and the utilization of the web for recruitment are essential.

     • Able to work independently and as a member of a team with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.

     • Able to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities.

    • Able to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.

     • Competency in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

     • Knowledge about digital marketing’s tools and strategy
