Who we’re looking for

We seek to appoint an Admissions and Exclusion Officer to provide outstanding support to the Admissions Service which is part of Star Central and based at Eden Boys’ School, Preston.

As the Admissions and Exclusion Officer, you will support in discharging strategic and operational functions around school admissions, school appeals, exclusions and independent review panels.


You will have:

  • A Level/ NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • 3 years administration experience within an education setting or Local Authority.
  • Experience of dealing with school exclusions and admissions.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret legislation
  • Outstanding communication skills to nurture effective relationships and understanding across a range of internal and external organisations.
