With a professional and positive approach, you are an excellent communicator who can quickly build a rapport with all kinds of people. Then you could be just the person we need to represent Woldingham School with prospective pupils, parents and feeder schools. So, join us - and be part of our welcoming and supportive team.

Close to London, yet in an outstandingly beautiful rural setting, Woldingham is a happy and successful Catholic boarding and day school for girls aged 11 to 18. With a strong community and caring culture, we are building on a proud heritage that stretches back 175 years. We’re now driving an exciting future that’s underpinned by fresh ideas, an innovative spirit and state-of-the-art facilities.

Maintaining regular communications with parents (on the phone, face-to-face and in writing), you will ensure that everyone who comes into contact with us enjoys a friendly, responsive and informed introduction to the school. As well as that, your wide-ranging role will include keeping administration up-to-date, planning events, maintaining our database, carrying out market research and producing reports when required.

First class and up to date IT skills with confidence in MS Word and Excel; strong organisational and problem solving ability are important – and you should be able to manage your time and prioritise a busy workload too. Excellent skills and experience of working with databases is essential, combined with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the school.

Staff are welcome to use our range of outstanding facilities including the gym, squash and tennis courts and the swimming pool. Our Staffroom Committee organises regular social events, and individual members of staff have organised yoga classes and reflexology on site. All staff also receive free lunches and coffee.

Professional development and staff welfare

Our professional team of staff is Woldingham’s greatest asset, and we want to ensure that everyone is supported to work in an effective, enjoyable and fulfilling way. Staff Development is a high priority, with an annual cycle of Personal Professional Development planning for all colleagues.  Each member of staff has their own Professional Development coach who encourages them to plan and undertake a range of developmental activities, both externally and internally.
