Permanent, Part Time (14.4 hours per week)

As our Admissions Co-ordinator, you’ll be responsible for organising daily tasks for the Admissions Team and contributing to the effective delivery of a high-quality service. The service encompasses face to face, telephone, email and written enquiries, applications, the coordination of pre-entry interviews, offers, acceptances, enrolments and the associated data collection requirements.

This role would suit someone who has experience within a complex customer service and administrative environment and who has experience of managing or supervising staff. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be able to communicate with students, visitors and staff in a confident and professional manner and be able to provide a courteous, informative, and responsive service. You’ll be able to work accurately under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines. You’ll use your own initiative, plan, organise and prioritise, and produce reports for a variety of audiences.

Carshalton College is a co-educational further education college based in Sutton. It is a non-denominational school.

The college has been an education provider for over 60 years. It is a major provider of full-time, part-time, apprenticeships, access, undergraduate and supported learning courses. 

The college is situated in an environment surrounded by parks and ponds, but within a proximity of the towns of Sutton and Croydon. It is accessible from all areas of south London and its transport links also allow its students to be in the centre of London within 30 minutes.
