Colston’s is a thriving co-educational day school on the outskirts of Bristol. The Upper School occupies a glorious thirty acre campus and has all of its facilities on-site. We are easily accessible from the motorway network and with approximately 750 students aged from 3 to 18. 

The Headmaster of Colston’s School wishes to appoint an Admissions Coordinator to join our busy Admissions Team. The successful candidate will assist the Admissions Manager in responding to parental enquiries by phone and in writing as well as planning visits and taster days for prospective families.

This is an excellent opportunity for a capable administrator who is highly organised and is able to work to meet deadlines. Experience of data input and the drafting of correspondence are vital.

The Admissions Coordinator will assist in the planning and administration of events such as Open Morning, entrance assessments and scholarship events. 

The hours for this role will be 9am until 3pm (including half an hour lunch break, unpaid) during all of school term time (35 weeks) plus the equivalent of 10 extra days during the school holidays.

You will receive a salary of £10,800 per annum. The remuneration pay scale is NJC pt 18 pro-rata, being £18,070 FTE x 27.5 /37.5 hours per week x 42.38/52 weeks per year (37 working weeks plus 5.38 weeks paid holiday). Pro-rata paid holiday entitlement is 5.38 weeks each year including bank/public holidays. Other benefits include School lunch during term time, free parking on site, a defined contribution pension scheme and staff remission on school fees in accordance with the staff remission policy.
