Role: 

We are searching for an Admissions Co-ordinator to be responsible for the recruitment of UK and international students, working closely with the Collegiate Leadership Team and school teams in order to ensure the financial sustainability of the Collegiate from year to year.

This job description is written at a specific time and is subject to change as the demands of the Collegiate and the role develops. The role requires flexibility and adaptability and the employees of the Collegiate need to be aware that they may be asked to perform tasks and be given responsibilities not detailed in this job description.  


Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Carry out promotional and sales tasks with prospective parents/guardians/ agents, including Collegiate tours and promotional events
  • Show initiative and proactivity in generating and dealing with admissions enquiries, by telephone, email, and in person
  • Carry out administrative and general office tasks, both computer and paper based, relating to new student registrations, including liaising with other staff, parents and agents
  • Assist with the production of marketing materials, and the running of online and face-to-face webinars and open days, in liaison with the Marketing Department
  • Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
  • Ensure that the schools security and courtesy procedures are followed with regards to visitors
  • Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the Collegiate.
  • Participate in training as required
  • Promote the Collegiate and its staff and students positively at all times


The Appointed Candidate will have:

  • Grade C/4 (or equivalent) in GCSE English and Mathematics
  • A marketing or administrative qualification (Desirable)
  • Experience in Customer Service or Sales
  • Strong Administrative skills
  • Experience of working in a school environment (Desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of importance of safeguarding in a school environment
  • Motivation to work amongst children and young people
  • A positive ‘can-do’ attitude!
