Job Purpose

We are looking for an efficient, well-organised and flexible individual, interested in developing their career in a growing charity, to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting time of development for the organisation, and you will need to be a motivated, flexible and proactive individual who embraces change.

The Admissions Officer will act as the first point of contact at BeyondAutism for queries related to admissions across all our services, up to student enrolment. Providing excellent customer service is a key part of this role as the Admissions Officer is often the first introduction to BeyondAutism’s services and the beginning of the student journey. With proven administrative experience, the ideal candidate will show good initiative, enthusiasm, and have a problem-solving approach to new challenges. You will have outstanding attention to detail and have the ability to manage a varied and busy workload.

Within this role there will be a significant amount of data management and the right candidate needs to be able to successfully support the analysis and input of key information. To ensure the smooth running of the admissions process, the successful applicant will be line managed by the Financial Controller, who manages the income received for children and young adults in our services. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is essential to this role as well as a passion for the work of the organisation.

BeyondAutism is a charity dedicated to empowering people with autism to lead fuller lives through positive educational experiences, training for the people who work with them and support for their families and carers. We are experts in educating children and young people with autism, applying the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behaviour (VB) to teach students and arm them with the life skills they need to live as independent a life as possible.

We run BeyondAutism Schools, Independent Special Schools, offering transformative specialist education and support for 65 children and young people with autism aged 4-19. We also run a Post-19 provision that empowers people with autism, preparing them for adulthood with a skillset that enables them to have choice and control. As well as these provisions we provide outreach and training services for parents, carers, professionals and schools and are piloting an Early-Years provision.
