This important and busy role represents an exciting opportunity for someone to join a strong administration department within the front office at Babington House School. The successful candidate will be required to work full-time during term time and an agreed shortened hourly structure during the school holidays with 30 days annual leave.

Previous experience in Admissions is desirable as well as strong SIMS skills - very strong interpersonal and organisational skills are essential. A confident, engaging, warm and hardworking, professional manner is key to this role, as is the ability to work well under pressure. A good understanding of independent education is also highly desirable.

Babington House School is an independent day school from 3 to 18 years, situated in a beautiful group of buildings on Grange Drive in Chislehurst, near Bromley (3 minutes’ walk from Elmstead Woods Station).
It is a co-educational School from 3 to 18 years. It currently has just over 430 pupils with no more than 20 children in a class.
This is an exciting time for Babington House School with growing pupil numbers. This growth is providing opportunities for new staff to join this friendly and supportive team, working with delightful children in small classes in a highly successful and progressive school.

Babington is an academic school. Teachers inspire pupils from the Sixth Form right down to the Nursery and achieve excellent results. Over the past three years, A-Level pupils have achieved 80% A* to B grades and Babington’s Early Years provision has been top of the Bromley Borough league tables.
The Senior School is academically selective with an Entrance Examination for Year 7 entry. In the Sixth Form, the focus very much on A-level study in small sets whilst at the same time providing the opportunity for work experience, something that will help their university applications stand out and provide great self-confidence.
