An exciting opportunity has arisen at Itchen College for an Adult Education Admin Officer. Working with the External Funding Projects Manager and other members of the Adult Education team, you will assist with the smooth running of the department. The successful candidate needs to be a driven, enthusiastic and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication skills, meticulous record keeping and attention to detail are key to the role. The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and word processing skills. The role will involve tracking and monitoring learners, reception duties and ensuring that all of our contractual paperwork is accurate, monitored and submitted in a timely manner.
Hours: 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm

Itchen College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college in Hampshire, serving students from the age of 16-19. The college, situated in Southampton has approximately 1,558 learners on record.
Itchen College was founded in 1906 as a co-educational secondary school and later Itchen Grammar School. It welcomes learners from across the world, with 10% making up international students. Facilities on the campus include a sports centre, performing arts block – features Apple Mac suites, recording studios and soundproof music rooms, and a Student Centre for students to relax in during their study breaks.
