If you have a proven track record in achieving outstanding results at GCSE and a passion for ensuring every learner exceeds their expectations, then these newly-created posts of Advanced Practitioner could be your next step to a fulfilling and rewarding career, with the English team here at Stockton Riverside College.

In exchange for your enthusiasm, highly developed teaching skills and your commitment to raising the standards of teaching and learning in GCSE English, you will receive the full support of the College’s management team and a salary to recognise your outstanding skills.  

You will have excellent communication skills and be approachable when dealing with learners and your colleagues.

Your main client group will be 16-18 year old learners, but you will also work with less experienced colleagues to ensure high levels of attainment in English across the College. As such you will need to be able to observe and evaluate the quality of teaching and share your experience with colleagues when appropriate.

Appointments are conditional upon a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
