Hours: Part time 4pm - 6pm (10 hours p/w), Term Time only 

Salary: Durham School Support Scales. X12 £18,593 FTE £3,722 Pro-rata  

Pension The School provides a workplace pension, this is a money purchase scheme, where members contribute a minimum of 3% of eligible salary and the School 5%.

We require an After School Care Assistant to work in the After School Club to supervise the play and extended care of our children at The Chorister School. 


The applicant should be a strong team player and be committed to the Prep School ethos with the extra curricula requirements that this entails. The candidate needs to be flexible in approach and a caring, fun-loving, person who enjoys working with young people.

The School provides a workplace pension, this is a money purchase scheme, where members contribute a minimum of 3% of eligible salary and the School 5%.  25 days paid holiday (increasing annually to 30 days after 5 years’ service) + 8 public holidays + 3 days efficiency closure at Christmas
