The Royal School are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative after-school care assistant to join The Royal Primary School After-School Team. 

The Royal Primary School offers a bespoke after-school care service, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 4-11.

The role includes planning and delivering engaging activities for children across the age range, ensuring children are dismissed to parents safely and working as a team to provide a high quality after school programme.

Our ideal candidate would have experience in working with children or young people in a school or other setting. They would share in the Royal School Values and be keen to ensure that the experience of every child in the after-school care programme was enriching and nurturing. They would be keen to engage with and improve the programme of activities which the after-school team offer. They would enforce the high standards of behaviour which the school expects and enjoy working in a team of fellow professionals.

The successful candidate would be subject to an enhanced DBS check and Safer Recruitment procedures.

The Royal School Wolverhampton is a co-educational, all-through free school based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, for students aged 4-19. The school is non-selective and non-denominational.   

The Royal School was founded in 1850 as an orphanage by a local philanthropist and businessman, John Lees.    

Boarders can join the school from age 10 upwards and stay in one of its single-sex boarding houses. Boarding accommodation is in spacious and well-equipped 25-acre grounds surrounded by woodlands, offering a secure and peaceful environment with the convenience of an urban setting.
