We are looking for a dedicated, creative and enthusiastic play leader to join our happy and hardworking team at Hook Lane. You will be required to contribute, and support the work of the schools Early Years Childcare and Development Unit, by way of managing sessional childcare activities for young children in our After School Club. You will ensure the delivery of quality childcare and appropriate age related play opportunities for children that attend the sessions.
A level 3 qualification is desirable but not compulsory. Ideally you will have a Food & hygiene and first aid qualification, however training will be given if necessary.

Welcome to our School profile. Hook Lane Primary School forms part of the Maritime Academy Trust, a multi-academy trust that is committed to making sure that education is meaningful.
Our Trust is made up of 11 primary schools located in Greenwich, Bexley and Kent. Hook Lane is an all-inclusive 2 form entry community school with a Nursery and a 14 place Resource Provision for pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. As a school we celebrate difference and diversity both through our ethos and our curriculum.

We recognise that children deserve the opportunity to excel across the curriculum and pride ourselves on providing for ambitious standards in the humanities, arts and PE as well as in English and Maths. We measure success by understanding children’s individual progress and attainment and know that this can look different for each child.
