We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, creative and experienced people to join our hard working team in both the Infant & Nursery and Junior Schools.

Applicants for the post should have at least one year’s experience of working in an appropriate setting and a relevant childcare qualification (at least NVQ 2 or similar). A first aid certificate and food hygiene certificate are essential requirements for this role - training will be provided if you do not hold a current qualification. You must have the ability to work as an effective team member, be well organised, and have the ability to communicate with children and adults in a constructive and effective way.

This post is considered to be a customer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers. The school therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the person specification. These will be applied during the recruitment/selection and probationary stages.
