Featherby Junior School  is part of the Maritime Academy Trust and is looking to appoint an Afterschool Club Playworker.

The successful candidate will need to  create high quality and varied activities within a safe and caring environment and provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children in the Club, including those with special needs. 

The successful candidate will be required to support children on a day to day basis in after school club that provides, safe, stimulating, comfortable and friendly high quality after school care.  To contribute to and implement after-school club policies.  To fulfil legal and statutory requirements.

The care and wellbeing of our pupils is a high priority and our children are enthusiastic and hardworking. 

The Trust and its schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is subject to a successful DBS clearance and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before an appointment is confirmed.

The successful candidate would be required to work from  Monday - Friday, 15 hours per week, 3pm - 6pm
