As an 11–19 secondary school serving nearly 1,200 students in central Gateshead, we have some ambitious plans for the future. We operate a unique Alternative Provision base within our school, and are looking to recruit an Alternative Provision Coordinator to manage the centre and support students therein. We are looking ideally for a colleague with qualified teacher status – however this is not a pre-requisite. Candidates must have a strong pupil-centred background, and experience of providing high-quality alternative provision, mentoring and support tutoring to individual students. Candidates should be able to plan and deliver lessons and learning for young people in group settings, particularly for students who are not necessarily following the standard curriculum. At times, students will be engaged in stand-alone, cross-curricular tasks as well as a core curriculum.
Hours: Term time only + maximum of 5 training days - 8.15am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday (Tuesday 8.15am - 4pm)

Grace College is an 11-19 secondary school serving over 1200 students in central Gateshead. The College joined the Emmanuel Schools Foundation (ESF) in April 2019 as the fifth school providing a holistic education focused on developing character in and beyond the classroom.
