If you can answer yes to these questions you may be the person we are looking for to run our new Alternative Provision facility and to work with young people who have emotional, social and behavioural needs. 

The successful candidate will have significant input in developing and implementing the operating processes and procedures as well designing the programme of support and intervention, which will make this provision a success. To think and plan creatively will be essential. Experience of working in behaviour management settings and with young people who are in secondary education, will be a strong feature of the application process . 

The successful candidate will work with our students to help improve behaviour and remove barriers to learning, so that they are able to thrive and make excellent progress. Developing a strong network and relating to a wide range of people will be essential to this role, together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills demonstrating a high level of emotional intelligence. They will connect and engage with students so that they are able to remain in school, achieving at their highest potential. Confidence, determination and motivation to engender a positive approach to learning and a positive view of self and others in young people are key.
