Job overview

LAE Tottenham seeks to appoint an Alumni Support Lead to ensure that the alumni of LAE Tottenham are supported into the next stages of their academic and professional journey after leaving the school.

LAE Tottenham is a selective 16-19 free school, which offers a rigorous academic curriculum alongside a broad co-curricular programme and exceptional pastoral support enabling students to access high tariff universities. In 2020-21, nearly 75% of students won places at Russell Group universities, from a cohort in which 51% of students had been eligible for free school meals at secondary school.

The Alumni Support Lead will manage communications with LAE Tottenham alumni in general, organise regular high-quality networking events and provide targeted help for more vulnerable alumni to ensure that they can access the support available via their university or other institution.

This role is suitable for someone from a school, university or other education background, or a recent graduate passionate in maximising opportunities for students, particularly from more disadvantaged backgrounds.

The role is advertised on a full time basis, working school term times plus two weeks.
