We are looking to appoint a committed Animal Care Technician to take a pro-active role in the daily care and welfare of a range of animals within our small school-based farm.

Applicants should have a genuine interest in the care of animals, with a hard working approach and the ability to organise and carry out daily routine tasks, in line with school procedures.

This role will involve lone working and locking/unlocking of the site, therefore this position is only open to applicants over the age of 18. A calendar showing the required working days has been included, some flexibility can be offered to cover annual leave. Bank holiday working will be paid as double time.

Animal care related qualifications would be an advantage, as well as practical experience of caring for animals in a work or voluntary capacity.
