We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Animal Centre Manager with a proven track record and reputation within the animal industry to run and develop our Animal Centre into a beacon of excellence for Animal Care students and visitors.

The successful candidate will foster a team centred approach and be capable of working without supervision. 

They should be passionate about sharing their knowledge and skills with people of all abilities and backgrounds. 

A knowledge and experience of Zoo Standards and current animal welfare legislation and compliance, together with strong administrative skills is essential to this role.

Effective communication skills are a must and delivering outstanding customer service to stakeholders is central to the role.

Curating a diverse collection of animals ranging from exotic zoo through to domestic species, the Animal Centre Manager will oversee the operations of the animal centre and manage and develop staff and facilities to ensure our learners and visitors have an outstanding experience. They will be required to promote and develop conservation and research as well as represent the College in all matters under their remit.

A flexible approach to working hours is a must when working with animals as is a strong work ethic and a willingness to have an occasional hands on role.
