Job overview

We are looking to recruit a professional and ambitious Instructor in Animal Management to form an integral part of our Animal Management team. Our established and wide ranging collection of exotic, small and large animal species is the hub of the College’s thriving animal management provision with students on courses ranging from Level 1 to BSc (Hons). The Animal Management Instructor will adopt innovative approaches to developing our animal management centre and enhancing our students’ learning experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience of showcasing animals and educating the public. With extensive experience of animal welfare and husbandry, they will hold an animal care qualification. They will also need to be organised, hardworking and a confident team player who is adaptable and happy to take initiative. This role requires a willingness to undertake some weekend and bank holiday working.
