China and Thailand
Wellington College is one of the world’s leading co-educational boarding and day schools and has an enviable reputation for excellence and innovation. We’re currently looking for experienced teaching professionals to support the Annual Review inspections of our International Schools.
Wellington College International Limited’s Annual Review teams are an independent body of inspectors that quality assure, review and support our partner schools in Asia. Join our inspection teams on these exciting short-term contracts (1-3 weeks) in China and/or Thailand and you’ll receive a competitive daily rate and all travel and subsistence costs.
As a Team Member, you’ll need to attend pre-inspection meetings to ensure you’re fully prepped prior to each inspection visit. We’ll then rely on you to collect evidence at inspections through lesson observations and meetings, make accurate judgments on school performance and identify recommendations for improvement. Providing support in the writing of Annual Review feedback documents will be important too, and, all the while, you’ll need to abide by an Annual Review Code of Conduct.
We welcome high quality teaching professionals with inspection and/or school improvement experience. All areas of expertise are welcomed, although knowledge of IB and exposure to bilingual education would be an advantage, as would senior leadership experience and evidence of leading school improvement. The ability to collate information from a variety of sources to make accurate judgments on school performance is also key. A supportive team player who’s able to show initiative and work independently too, you have an open minded and reflective approach and work accurately and efficiently to short deadlines.
So, if you’re keen to take on one of these short-term roles that are key to helping the continued growth of our 2-18 international schools, the relentless drive for school improvement and our ambition to be a family of leading schools, apply today.
Closing date: 6pm on Tuesday 17 December 2019
Interviews will take place w/c 6 January 2020
