Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra & Goulburn plays an integral role in education both in the ACT and NSW operating 56 Schools and 8 Early Learning Centres.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer and working collaboratively with other key leaders, you will be responsible for leading the Information and Applications Team in providing high level support across the system. This is a broad role, encompassing aspects of procurement, development and continued maintenance of information system applications and the knowledge management environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have proven leadership experience and extensive information technology expertise specifically within web-based Management Information Systems as well as knowledge and information delivery environments and database management.

You will have advanced skills across technologies, with a proven understanding of knowledge and information architecture principles, web accessibility and usability initiatives and principles.

You will be known for your high level communication skills along with your broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, specifically in the areas of web, database, data warehouse, business intelligence and identity management systems.

Qualifications in Information Technology/Information Science or similar are essential.

Please note that this position is for an initial 3 year contract term with scope for extension.
