Apprentice Course Information Advisor (Customer Service)

The Apprentice Course Information Advisor is a fantastic opportunity for any school or college leaver who has an aptitude for customer service/administration, loves to help others and is willing to train on the job. The Apprenticeship will run over 2 years and you will have every opportunity to really get involved in all frontline and administrative aspects of our course information service, giving you an excellent platform from which to develop your own career.

Join us as an Apprentice and your duties will include:

  • Responding to enquiries on the telephone and via email, where necessary referring enquiries to the appropriate member of staff
  • Tracking and maintaining enquiry records through to conclusion and using this information to generate accurate statistical reports for the department
  • Representing the College at open events, exhibitions and careers conventions

Alongside a good standard of education to include GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at A*-C or 9-4 grade, you will also:

  • Be a good listener, with the confidence to give advice and guidance over the telephone and on email, providing a positive and friendly service
  • Be able to use MS Word and Excel to a good standard
  • Have a good eye for detail and be able to input data efficiently and accurately
  • Enjoy taking responsibility for getting things done as part of a team

This is a fixed term contract for up to 2 years. 

*Your salary will increase to £10,920 p.a. (or £14,624 if you are over 21).
