Bolton School Nursery requires a part time Administrator to join the team on a fixed term basis.  We are offering this role as a Level 3 apprenticeship.  The main purpose of the job will be to provide an effective administrative service to the Nursery and to act as point of contact for parents, prospective parents, suppliers, staff and general queries.   


The role will be to provide day to day support for the work of the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager, which will include processing Nursery application forms, typing correspondence and producing application packs for prospective parents, maintaining databases and filing.


The hours of work will be 30 per week, Monday to Friday, 1.00pm until 6.00pm (25 hours in the office and the additional 5 hours based at home as part of the apprenticeship).


The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, databases and working with web based information are essential, as is experience of record-keeping and organisation of paper records. The person appointed will have excellent communication skills at all levels, both oral and written and the ability to organise their work, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
