Working Type: Full time: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (30 days annual leave)

Base: Community Zone, North Shore Academy, Talbot Street, Stockton-on-Tees, TS20 2AY

Northern Education Trust (NET) is a charitable education Trust with a good track record for school improvement. The Trust sponsors 21 academies; 11 secondary and 10 primaries across the North of England in eleven Local Authority regions. Secondary academies within the trust provide Community Zone facilities, offering a wide range of facilities for hire to the public and community groups, including football, rugby, netball, badminton and may others.

We are looking for two enthusiastic, friendly and reliable apprentices to join our team. The successful candidate will have first-rate organisational and ICT skills as well as excellent administrative and communication skills, as well as being eager to learn, with a 'can-do' attitude; dedication and willingness to work hard. 

As an Apprentice Receptionist/Administrator, you will act as the first point of contact for visitors on the community zone (central team) reception. This will include supporting large events hosted by the Chief Executive and other members of the executive team. You will also be responsible for the administration and co-ordination of the community zone facilities, providing administrative support to other corporate functions when required, answering the telephone, dealing with queries, maintaining records on the School Hire system (online booking system), and working with trust academies to ensure that staff rotas are in place for community zone assistants. 

You will complete a Business Admin qualification at Level 2 or 3, dependent on prior qualifications.
