The Trafford College Group (TCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Apprenticeship Leader to join the Engineering team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.

The Role:

Trafford College Group through its innovative approach to learning and exceptional engagement with business prepares learners for success in work and life.

In this role you will: coordinate and manage a designated number of apprenticeship programmes as agreed with the Head of Studies; undertake an agreed training/assessment commitment across a range of apprenticeship programmes and effectively manage resources across area of responsibility.

Key areas of responsibility include:-

Maximise the performance of the team by communicating and clarifying expectations, setting objectives, identifying performance indicators and providing feedback.

Liaise with the Head as part of the business planning and review process to establish appropriate targets for recruitment and outcomes for apprentices for all relevant programmes.

Responsible for the people management of identified team members, including participation in the recruitment and selection of individuals, undertaking induction for new staff and addressing any conduct issues.

Support the Head with the annual self-assessment for the team and lead on the process of course review and development.

About you:

If you are passionate about your specialist subject and sharing your knowledge, skills and experience and have an enthusiasm for supporting apprentices then there has never been a better time to join Trafford College Group.

In order to be successful in this role you must have a degree in a relevant engineering subject, Level 2 English and Maths, a relevant assessing qualification and a verifier qualification. A recognised teaching qualification and recognised management qualification would be desirable.
