Cottingham High School is seeking to appoint an Area Improvement Leader (AIL) in Maths to join our Maths team. Cottingham High School is part of The Consortium Academy Trust. About the Role

As the AIL for Maths you will be responsible for the leadership and management of the faculty to secure high levels of progress and for raising the standards of attainment for all students by being an excellent practitioner. You will enable all students to be challenged and supported to excel by a staff who are led and supported to convey the highest expectations in relation to progress and achievement, standards and care. 

About You

The successful candidate will have experience of teaching Maths, to a range of year groups and working and communicating with colleagues across a faculty and school. You will be able to demonstrate leadership skills capable of driving performance and inspiring students. Candidates will also be educated to degree level, holding a suitable teaching qualification and will be able to deliver a cohesive Maths curriculum, work well as a team member and contribute to the wider life of the school.
