As a result of rapid growth we have an excellent opportunity for a business development professional with extensive knowledge of international education to join our Schools Development Team. The role will develop and enhance relationships with our existing and potential customers.

As Manager, West China, you will be supported by and make an effective contribution to the work of the larger regional team for East Asia. The role will be varied and will include supporting schools with the implementation of Cambridge Pathway such as A Level and IGCSE. You will deliver presentations at events and conferences to promote Cambridge qualifications and services and work with schools to understand their development needs and to devise plans which meet those needs.

You will be an effective communicator, skilled in building relationships, and have credibility representing Cambridge effectively with school principals, teachers and advisers. You will have an excellent knowledge of Cambridge Assessment International Education, our competitors’ products and of Chinese educational policy.

You will be able to demonstrate strong learning and problem-solving skills and the ability to handle a variety of tasks in an effective and timely way. Excellent command of spoken and written English in a business context is essential.

You will be expected to travel in the area (mainly Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunan, and Guizhou) frequently during school terms.
