Art & Design and Design Technology Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to support teaching and learning in the Art and Design Technology Departments at Ernest Bevin College. This role is varied, and we are seeking an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual who is able to work across both departments and is able to deal with constantly changing priorities. The role requires the post holder to provide practical support and assistance to staff and learners in Art and Design Technology.

Ernest Bevin College is an 11-19 boys’ school with 1250 on roll. We have a mixed sixth form of 370 students based in state of the art buildings with good transport links.

We are an Elite Sports College competing at national and international level in a range of sports. We have full time coaches for volleyball, judo and table tennis and fantastic sports facilities including a swimming pool and fitness studio. These facilities are extensively used by students and staff free of charge.

We are one of only 4 schools in the country to have been awarded STEM Assured status. We have a Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and the Royal Marines working with us on site, and we have recently formed a Cricket Academy in partnership with Twenty20 Community Cricket.
