This is an exciting time to be joining one of the most pioneering schools in the country. We are looking for an excellent art and design teacher who is passionate about their subject area and ready to develop their practice in a dynamic and innovative teaching environment. You will have experience of teaching qualifications at secondary and sixth form level. The role will involve managing two other members of the department and taking on responsibility for our GCSE art and design qualification. You will be responsible for acting as second in the department supporting the Head of Art, Design & Technology.

Ideally, the candidate would have a well-developed skill set working in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional media and able to work flexibly across the disciplines of art, craft and design. We are particularly interested in teachers with a specialism in 3D design/sculpture and/or digital media. This role will involve teaching secondary-sixth form level and therefore must have experience of teaching at Key Stage 4 and 5. Art and Design is a popular subject throughout the whole school, so we are looking for a confident teacher who can help us build a distinctive and bold vision for the department going forward. You will join a team of highly dedicated art and design teachers, who are keen to share experiences and collaborate.

• An excellent teacher and subject specialist with experience of teaching qualifications
• Experience in teaching art, craft and design with specialism in 3D design/sculpture and/or digital media
