Kingston College, part of the South Thames College Group, are now looking for an Art & Design Technician to assist and support academic staff during formal classes and instruct or supervise individual students or groups of students with or without a member of teaching staff present.
The Art & Design Technician will have good general experience in the use of equipment/preparation of materials within this area and have the ability to work well with other staff and students. Whilst formal technical and/or educational qualifications would be beneficial, what’s more important is an individual who is adaptable, flexible and able to work in an environment of change, working some evenings and additional hours.
Variable hours may include evenings or Saturdays. Daytime sessions may be between 08:00 and 18:00 and run up until 22:00. It is anticipated that the variable hours requirement at present for this role is all day Friday, term time only, with some additional hours at busy times throughout the academic year.
