We are seeking to appoint an Art and Design Technician on a full time, term time basis to start in September 2020 at our Strode’s College campus.

The Role and You

Art and Design is part of the Art, Design and Media Department and has approximately 163 students studying a range of subjects including A Levels in Fine Art and Photography as well as Level 3 BTECs in Photography, Textiles and Art and Design. The Department benefits from accommodation including a dark room, a DT workshop and a separate kiln room. 

The successful applicant to this position will work to support the teaching staff in the Department principally through preparation of materials for practical activities and coursework. You will also take a key role in managing stock and the sale of materials to students as well as assisting with creating and maintaining displays of students’ work around the College.  

This post offers the successful applicant the opportunity to support the work of Art & Design team. There are two other technicians within the Department who support Performing Arts and Film and Media Studies respectively.
